"Distaffs – the Currents of the Serbian Tradition"

Being part of the International Art Colony “Homolje ART 2018”, the National Museum in Žagubica presented the exhibition Distaffs – the Currents of the Serbian Tradition by Vladimir Vučinić. The exhibition was opened on Tuesday, the 22^ndof May. The analysis of the distaffs was based on the fundamental typological classification according to their characteristic shapes, out of which we can select three main types, namely, the bat, the branch, and the paddle. All three types have subtypes that could be differentiated based on their unique characteristics.
